Little Makers | 40 Air-Dry Clay Projects for Kids (Ages 4-10)
Forty afternoons with your kids, already planned.
Print one project, clear the table, and you are making. Forty air-dry clay projects for children four to ten and a grown-up, each one ten pages from the first roll to the painted finish.
What you get
- 40 project guides across four volumes, ten pages each: Colourful Beginnings, Ocean and Animal Friends, My Creative Corner, and Little Makers, Big Ideas.
- Every project in three versions. What a four-year-old does, what a seven-year-old does, what a nine-year-old does — and what the grown-up does. Brothers and sisters make the same project at the same table.
- A making map that shows the whole project in six pictures, to read together before you open the clay.
- A fixes page in every project. Oops is part of making: a broken tail does not end the afternoon.
- A printable A4 template for every project, at 100%.
- 10 technique videos. Short clips with no commentary: kneading, rolling, cutting, joining, smoothing, sanding, painting. Watch one together before you start.
408 pages across four volumes.
How long it takes
Twenty-five to forty minutes of making. Then the clay has to dry properly — several days, and some clays need a week — and then fifteen to twenty-five minutes of painting. Every project plans that pause for you.
What you need
Air-dry clay and water-based paints labelled suitable for your child’s age, two brushes, a small rolling pin, a blunt clay tool, a board or wipe-clean mat and a damp cloth. Nothing is included in the download: these are guides, not a kit.
Good to know
A grown-up stays with the activity, cuts the paper template and handles the parts that need care. Finished pieces are for indoor display: not toys, not food dishes, and never waterproof. No kiln, no oven, nothing sharp.
Instant download after purchase. Nothing is shipped.
